i just went on a fieldtrip to the childrens pool to listen to the pro-seal people and pro-people speakers for a persuasive essay i have to write. and me, being a teenager. im a kid, straightup. so i think the kids should be able to decide if the seals should stay or not, i mean. it is a pool thats supposed to be for us. we have a voice too right? seals were here first. they should stay. Humans are the greatest deterrent to the environment and wildlife. The seals were first and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Those humans are selfish ought to be ashamed of themselves! Selfishness has no place in the world.

I believe the seals come first. We need to listen to the children who feel empathy and compassion for the harbor seals. It is the adults who are being selfish!

If I ever visit that beach and there are people there, then I will do my best to make their time on that beach as uncomfortable as possible. It's one little silly beach for heaven's sake! Kids prefer to swim in swimming pools anyway. Listen to the kids! They'd rather have the seals there.

The seals are protected under the National Marine Mammal Act... and that TRUMPS any law our CORRUPT City Council tries to pass against the seals!!!! THE ANTI-SEAL PEOPLE ARE A FEW RICH LA JOLLA RESIDENTS AND IGNORANT JERKS. SCOTT PETERS Should be ashamed for ignoring Federal law and being so anti-environment for some rich La Jolla people!

I travel to La Jolla regularly, while I love the beauty of it. I hate going to La Jolla Cove When I see all those idiots, harassing poor animals, and polluting beautiful coastline, I do realy think that people in some parts of America started to reproduce themself with vegetables!I am not against tourism, but I think that a lot of people coming here, don't care about nature, because probably they're not going to come here again.. that is so selfish

I am learning more and more and getting involved this just shows how truly wasteful and selfish we as humans can be...how many other beaches are there to swim in and use??? We can't let one beach go???

What is the law? This is what YOU can do! Get the badge # you take down the officer's name and badge number, tell him to his face if he doesn't enforce the law, you are going to put a complaint in against him/her.You might get some response out of the officer if you tell them you are going to complain to whatever control board you have out there, like internal affairs, or civilian complaint review boards.

These seals have been coming here hundreds of years. Then man comes and take property of it from the animals. How dare them take this from them! I love to go there and just be with them. Sign the petitions to allow them to have their pups here. This is for children also to enjoy the seal in nature. Man has ruined animals lives and continues to keep doing it. Any place they want they will take it from the animals. Wrong.

Humans are so fucking selfish!!!! Leave it up to California natives to think that seals should not migrate in their own habitat! The beach is the seal's home, not the human's home...Humans can go elsewhere if they do not like the fact that seals occupy a certain area on the beaches. I live in So Cal and I LOVE going to the beaches where the seals are! They are such sweet animals. Don't see why people have to be such bastards.
