ukent07: North American Natives ate/eat meat. Hopi & Navajo eat sheep; Sioux ate/eat buffalo. All ate/eat venison when they can get it. The differnace between how they do it & what you get in the store is that Natives prayed to the spirit of the animal, thanking it for giving it's life to sustain the humans. Before & after a hunt there were/are prayers. Life is not indescriminatively destroyed with no thought of the animal. To turn it to a better ending: open your hearts, learn loving. Share.

Is there, REALISTICLY, a way to fix this mess, that we got ourselves into?Good begining would be if we teach our children to lead responsible and moral life...We took too much for granted for way too long!

elcid2012- with all due respect- we were given meat in order to survive- by the creator. animals incarnate onto turtle island for a reason. no hunter will see an animal unless it offers itself. when it does- it is offering its life to be taken - a gift- from the animal to man. it also had a practical element- only the sick or mamed would be eaten. this meant the survival of the herd for future food. and in doing so mercy for the suffering animal as well- and animal fat in winter kept them alive

This should be our president-not another cog in the machine.Native Americans and humans all depend on meat.They harvest it with a spiritual respect.They don't factory raise it and torture the animals to death.Just as all predator animas they take what they NEED.Not for sport and under strict natural laws that allow for REGENERATION every season.They lived with hundreds of millions of buffalo for tens of thousands of years and the herd never changed.We wiped them out in 10 to rid us of Indians!

59 million Natives EXTERMINATED and US Citizens feed there fat faces while 40k people day per day from no food... wow - Stop eating meat stop eating things we were not meant to eat. Teach the young stand up to the old school thinking and people even if your the only one to do so. 2012 coming and we must all open our consuncius to the world!
