I agree, I'd like to see a true creationist museum where all mythology is put on display, not just evangelist Christianity. I am a Christian, and I believe we should be fair. As long as the museum showcases a variety of creation myths and doesn't pretend to be scientific I'm all for it.

One of my favorite quotes from the bible is Isaiah 1:18"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."God starts by saying "come, let us REASON together". God wants an intelligent people, a reasonable people. It's the institutions that want to create the mindless cattle for their selfish desires.

You absolutely right we are " bombarded constantly with messages whose sole purpose is to try and evoke a change in our thinking." Church is always bad when mixed with the state. TV turns your mind into mush, but I haven chosen freely to follow Christ. So many Christian organization have dumbed down their followers, when they should be intelligent and focused as opposed to simple minded.

Umm, actually, YES. Think about any and every institution that tries to do the thinking for people:ChurchesPoliticiansCommercialsAdvertisementsYou can't argue with me that we are not bombarded constantly with messages whose sole purpose is to try and evoke a change in our thinking.

dude, almost everything out there that has been institutionalized is a "socio-political indoctrination centre" as you put it. If you don't realize that, you need to wake up. The sad part is christians due to their history as part of the holy roman empire have become more susceptible to to these camps the stamp God on their window. However, they originally come from a teacher who was the greatest freedom fighter God at the same time. Just dont think there the only ones being duped out there...

Trust me, as a Floridian, with what is going on now in my state in regards to education I REALLY understand. We just have to be the best TRUE KY and FL residents we can be.

As a Kentuckian I'm rather ashamed to find this institution in my home state.

I just uploaded a video called "Ken Ham Vs Me" and interestingly, all these videos came up in the "Related" list. So I thought I should see what they're about. Good point. I myself would also be interested in a museum of VARIOUS mythologies. |
