What did that lady expect, amidst a crowd of folks who were demonstrating against her personal opinion? Does not show much discernment on her part. The shouting is also disgusting. Protest and change is never pretty. Revisit the history of the founding of this country. The British (our mother country at the time) called us revolutionaries. Remember the Boston Tea Party, etc. What is ultimately right according to human dignity will prevail. I support full GLBT rights.

It's just disgusting that with all the crap happening in the world right now, like war and the economic crisis and sh*t, people like her want to eliminate people's rights and hold up a cross and call it God's opinion. I'm not even american, but come on people, what happened to equal rights?! Black people are accepted now, so we're turning on gay people? WTF. Anyone who voted yes on prop 8 should feel ashamed of themselves whether they believe in God or not.

And after we overturn Prop H8, it's time to make those child-bride, kiddie-fiddler religions that were behind it pay taxes for playing politics. They don't get to hide behind a tax-exempt status.

Bite me. Wanna gloat with a cross after stripping away someone else's rights, then you've got to accept the risk that comes with it. The next time the zealots show up to the Castro to gloat in some obnoxious prayer group, I'll be joining my brethren and sisters who run the riff-raff out of town. No apologies, no regrets.

rasaxSF your an idiot just like the angry mob thats in this video. your no differnt than the people against same sex marriage actually your worse for saying something like that.. but it dont surprize me from palm springs this is one of the most gayest places in california and the gay here seem to be violent.. When i first moved to palm springs i remember hearing on the radio a man was beat up for not being gay
bishopdonwaun (January 1, 1970 at 11:59 am)
WOW what is this world coming to?? to stomp a cross and to treat an old lady like that for an opinion. You know in saudi arabia you are killed if you are found to be gay. All this lady was just trying to voice an opinion and thats probly that you cant have a baby with 2 guys. I believe in equality and i understand both sides of prop 8 thats why i really dont support either side.

The old lady had every right to her beliefs, BUT would a single white protester walk through the L A riots with a sign saying I HATE NI%%ERS? No she was just STUPID, poor old thang
rasaxSF (January 1, 1970 at 11:59 am)
LMAO - should've shoved that cross up the old bats posterior to send a message to those who want to gloat.

If any man had the guts to pick on them first, I'm sure they would.

A perfect reason? No, but I think the anchor had it right: there's anger on both sides. Her friends didn't have the right to knock over the gay rights activists, and they didn't have the right to knock back. But when someone is really angry, they're not always thinking of that. Hopefully, both groups went home and felt ashamed...though I doubt it.Also--don't assume all Catholics are anti-gay. :)
