"The vicar does not exist unless the Master is dead"! These are true words. I do not think that it is right to have the Pope. The Catholic Church is too concerned with worldly power.

Multumim parinte Arsenie Papacioc pentu ca spuneti adevarul!

@mariotime12In the ninth ecumenical council which defended hesychasm, it was exactly the platonic mysticism that was condemned (as it was condemned by the Fathers traditionally) expressed by Barlaam of Calabria who had studied in Rome and after his ideas were condemned he went back to Calabria and eventually became a papal bishop.

...the lie that it is the early Christianity and the faith adopted by the Romans. But of course it is not the case. It is the distortion of the faith by the Frankish racist and illiterate nobility which made the biggest culture-cleansing in history, the forerunners of the nazis.

@mariotime12You are also wrong as regards platonism. The papal philosophy originates in the writings of Augustine who was a neoplatonist. Hysechasm has nothing to do with platonism and that's evident in the writings of Saint Gregory Palamas.Papacy expressed the nationalism of the Franks who enslaved the Romans. That was the first nationalism and was paid back by the nationalism of protestantism. Romans were not nationalists. Orthodoxy was the faith of the Romans. Now Papacy just sells...

@mariontime12You hold wrong ideas about the Ecumenical Councils. They did not invent anything. They just defended and formulated what it was already known and true. The Christian faith has not changed at all in Orthodoxy since the time of the Apostles. Hesychasm was defended in the ninth ecumenical council. The idea of summoning synods in order to innovate things as it happened with the so-called infallibility of the Pope is foreign to Christianity and it is to be found only in Papacy. |
