For me, one of the greatest parts of traveling is to experience the local's eating habits (with the exception of pets and bugs). Luckily the growing California vegetarian movement has not affect me yet so I'm very much open to new kinds of meat. I have to say, having crocodile on my culinary resume would be so cool!

The big rocks are definately worth checking out Reverend. If you are interested in Aboriginal songs check out a book called songlines by Bruce Chatwin

Ha funny Jen, glad you like the vids. Seriously though, you can now get kangaroo meat in chain supermarkets in Australia. It's cheap and low fat, and in some parts of Australia, due to an increase in grazing lands and dams, kangaroos numbers have increased. It does have a gamey smell, but with a marinade (he he), it is quite good eating.

I'm learning about Australia from watching your videos, I think I know why you think they all taste like chicken. It's because you don't use seasonings and you overcook the meat. And yes, "marinade is a magic word" :)

The petroglyphs were at Wallace Rock Hole, sorry not sure on their history, I'm sure Benjamin would know if you contacted the community

very interesting. i like the petroglyphs at the end. by the way is it a rule that there is no geological information available for some of the sites? or is it just common courtesy to only present the aboriginal version?
