All the sex being sold in the west is the real oppression of women. they make women feel inferior because they dont have the perfect body, or perfect hair, etc. so in a sense, the veil makes all women equal because you cant judge them by their looks.

well, man; women of course should be treated equally, i agree with you and so does islam; islam tells woman to cover up women so that men don't get tempted BUT it's for women's own good; AND it in no way means that if a woman isn't covering up, she's allowed to be raped by men, that's awful; islam doesn't allow that man! islamic rulings might seem awkward in at first, but if u really understand the proper ruling/logic,(not necessarily always what the preachers talk about), it makes so much sense

Jesus is not a PROPHET he is GOD's son and is our lord. Also, I totally disagree with what this muslim preacher is saying about women wearing bikini's is inviting so that is why they get raped. Does this mean all muslims who commit rape are allowed to justify their actions? I think not. Regardless of what women wear, we as a HUMAN RACE should be treated equally and if not more so to women because they will be carrying our children.

I don't think the gentleman really addressed the questioner in today's context.Its correct that women have been reduced to a commodity by men to entice, promote & sell a product or lifestyle but the individual must also be accountable .A women is not responsible for my lack of self discipline & control ..A veiled woman can also desire or exploit a man.If you follow his logic men & women should all wear a veil because men also desire & exploit men in advertising .
