You two are either joking or have lost the plot, Jimmi i can understand but Blackmore & Iommi, you are joking or maybe the jokes on me for reacting to your comments

Sorry, but i have to disagree with you about blackmore. I think he's a little bit overrated. Pastorius is such a brilliant bassist, I think he deserves to be compared to a more oviously brilliant guitarist, like Hendrix or Iommi. I think I said Iommi because I prefer Sabbath to both deep purple and led zeppelin, and like Pastorius with his bass, Iommi has such a unique, brilliant sound - like a monster!

I don't know if you guys will agree with me, but I always get the feeling that Jaco is to the bass guitar as Ritchie Blackmore is to the electric guitar... I mean, fresh, innovating, with a very personal and distinct voice... and crazy as hell! Thanks God we had both of them...

Before you slag off the worlds greatest bass player you should do a bit more research, listen to more stuff by the man,ask Victor Wooten Marcus Miller etc what they think & above all learn how to spell

i know -8 without even insulting the guy! i coulsd play this "music" by slapping my cock all over the strings! so once again FUCK jaco and everyone thats on his dick. owned. pwned. pooned

hehe, that's why you got (-8) ^^ You don't seem to know much about bass history. And you can't judge a bass player of this level if you aren't a bass player yourself, because then you don't know what you're talking about. And don't say that bass is similar to guitar.

but, it's easyer, with an average bass, to get the harmonics at frets 3,5,7 and 12, on all chords

You've got a good point, and your english is great.

Actually, if you have harmonically rich strings and good enough pickups, and if you're precise enough, you can get a clear harmonic absolutely anywhere on the string.
