Actually, the calls you hear here belong specifically to the A Clan. Though, still part of the Northern Resident Community.

Fine ear you have there WisePillow. Yes, those are Northern Resident Killer Whale calls. Pods: A, R, and G. I too listen to them on Orcalive and have noted similarites between what I hear there and what I hear in this video. I'm expecially surprised that Natinal Geographic would replace the calls. I mean, their National Geographic!! This makes me wonder if they've falsified anything else. Perhaps in their other videos?

The calls in the background are not narwhal calls. They're orca. You can find them here on youtube. Youtuber WisePillow has made a video titled "Northern Resident Killer Whale Calls and J Pod." There you will hear the exact calls played in this video. The calls are of the Northern Resident Killer Whale Community and there are probably a little J pod mixed in there as well.
