Incredible clip. One of my faves by WR. Saw them, unfortunately, the first tour immediately following Jaco leaving, then saw Jaco at The Bayou, 8 feet in front of my face....WOW. 5 years later saw Wayne Shorter at Blues Alley, sat at the front cocktail table, mayyybe 3 feet from him....WOW. All GREAT musicians. Would have loved to see Jaco w/ WR. Anyone today playing WR type Jazz Fusion ??

You're very lucky; I would've loved to have seen them live.

I don't disagree with anything you say! I've been playing along with this clip and love the bass playing, but Zawinul is a freak that can make a major 6/9 chord sound exotic, and the duet on this is molten. Props to all, I love this band and always will.

u've gotta be kiddin' remember he was the only cat hangin in the undertow like this at the time. Rocco was similiar, but jaco stretched way the hell out..and then along comes Berlin..years later though |
