Umm... para-military means not really military, but organised like one. The SASR is part of the military. Just a point for consideration.Oh, and yes, you are right. They will kill someone the moment the oportunity presents itself if it is part of their mission. I know because I know an ex-SASR soldier. Only he says it as "neutralising the objective". Some of the things he has told me scare the crap out of me. You can NOT be perfectly sane in the SASR, otherwise you WILL break in combat.

Australian Special Air Services are one of the most elite para-military tactical forces in the world. give them some credit - they would proberbly kill you in a heartbeat if that was their mission...

Um, you lot had input into the SASR, but you didn't create it. It was a combination of taking elements from Z Forces, the existing Australian Commandos, the British SAS, and looking at a couple of other existing SF units at the time, though those are the main ones.
