If had watched this as a child, it would have given me nightmares. The expressions on some of the monkeys' faces before they made the ultimate mistake were really frightening...how their eyes bug out of their masks and all. *shudder* It's very informative and all, but it's scary.

I remember seeing this in Elementary School back in the early 70´s. It still freaks me out now and I had been thinking of this film lately and found it here. What a nightmare. the hospital scene scared me. Very surreal. Funny thing is, I was sure that they used real chimps for some of the characters. Anyone else have that memory?
